Actress Veena Malik gives birth to a baby boy, named Abram Khan

VIRGINIA, Sept. 23: Pakistani actor Veena Malik gave birth to a baby boy on Monday in Virginia and named him Abram Khan Khattak, the actor told on phone. 

The family sources of the actor told that Veena and the baby boy were in good health, however, they would remain in the hospital for couple of days until the complete recovery of the mother. 

Pakistani actor Veena Malik gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday in the US. Her husband Asad Bashir Khan took to Twitter to share the image of the newborn. 

The family further told that Abram was named after consulting the renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil. 

It may be mentioned that Veena Malik married the singer and businessman Asad Bashir Khan on December 25, 2013. The couple is now settled in the US and planning to return to Pakistan soon.

Khan wrote on Twitter, "Thank you Allah Pak 4 blessing us wth a lovely son Abram Khan Khattak. @iVeenaKhan thx 4 giving me biggest happiness."

In another tweet, Veena also shared an image of the newborn and wrote, "Alhumdullilah we are blessed with a Baby Boy @iAbramKhan... cute son of Proud father @Asadbashirr."

Speaking to  Pakistani daily Dawn from the US, Veena said that she was in good health but was too exhausted to speak.

Khan told the daily, “She is doing pretty well. We are happy that we are here. She is trying to sleep. We have named him Abram. It is the name of shah Rukh Khan son as well. In Hebrew and Arabic, it is Ibrahim."

Veena and Khan got married in Dubai in December last year. The controversial actor said she had put her past behind after getting married to the businessman.
