PUCA Urged Punjabi University to Reintroduce Yearly Exam System

MOHALI: Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) thanked Punjabi University, Patiala for inviting its affiliated Colleges and listening to the problems being faced by the Unaided Colleges of Punjab.

The meeting was addressed by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala, Prof. B.S Ghuman. Dean, Dr. Kulbir Singh Dhillon, additional Dean, Dr. Rajinder Singh Brar and Chairmen / Managing Directors of over 250 Colleges were also present during the meeting.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA demanded that students face lot of difficulty in semester examination system. Kataria said old yearly examination system was much effective and should be reintroduced. Kataria also demanded that University should introduce integrated campus concept wherein students should be able to study different streams like Education, Agriculture, Law, Arts, Commerce etc under one umbrella having common infrastructure, land, building etc.  This concept would be effective for students as well for colleges also.
