SpiceJet offers low rates for immediate travel with one-way booking

New Delhi: SpiceJet has announced the launch of a new low fare offer for immediate travel with one-way booking fares starting Rs. 1,899 all-inclusive.

“Booking tickets at the last minute is almost always an expensive affair. So here is a once-in-a-blue moon offer that makes immediate travels affordable and allows you to make that last minute dash,” said Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet.

“This is a rare offer for immediate travel and the travel period is from February 7 to February 28, 2015,” SpiceJet said.

Bookings for the offer can be made from February 7 to February 8, 2015. It is applicable on all direct and onward flights on SpiceJet's domestic network.

“ This is a flash sale in true sense. This is probably the first time an airline is offering such cheap fare for immediate travel. Last- minute booking is usually an expensive affair but an innovative solution to this is not inevitable,” said Suresh John, Founder and CEO, RoomsTonite.

“This is a market innovation from SpiceJet as for some routes the fares are even cheaper than Tatkal train tickets,” said Vinay Gupta, Founder and CEO, TripFactory.com
