Sabudana Khichdi  Protein-Rich :

This sabudana khichdi recipe is quick and simple and can put together a wholesome breakfast or brunch meal in a jiffy. All you need to keep in mind to prepare a delectable sabudana dal khichdi is not to over soak the sabudana pearls.

Here are a few tips to get properly soaked sabudana pearls:

Wash the sabudana granules properly to remove the excess starch.

Soak it for 2 hours in right amount of water. Make sure the water level is half-inch above the bed of sabudana.

Strain the water through sieve and let it dry for 30 minutes before you actually cook it.
Here's The Recipe For Sabudana Dal Khichdi:

Ingredients:
Sabudana- 1 cup (soaked for at least 2 hours)

Dhuli moong- a little less than half cup (soaked for at least 1.5 hours)

Boiled potato- 1-2 (small cubes)

Roasted peanuts- handful

Jeera- 1 teaspoon

Red chilli- 1

Black pepper- 1 teaspoon

Salt/black salt- as per taste

Ghee- 1-2 tablespoons

Lemon juice- as per taste

Coriander leaves- to garnish

Method:
Heat ghee in a kadhai and add jeera and red chilli to it. Fry till the jeera seeds crackle.

Add boiled potato to it and fry with some salt and black pepper.

Add the soaked moong dal and cook till it turns soft.

Now, add the soaked sabudana and rest of the black pepper and salt. Cook everything together for 2-3 minutes.

Add roasted peanuts and lemon juice to it and give a stir.

Transfer the food to a plate and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot.

This sabudana dal khichdi can also make an apt meal for the ones, who don't get much time to spend in the kitchen.
