After a gap of two years, Shah Rukh Khan is set to start work on his next project, titled Pathan. According to a report, Shah Rukh Khan will soon start shooting for Patha. The Siddharth Anand film, which is a Yash Raj production, co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. Deepika and John will join the film unit in January 2021.

Like Siddharth's previous outing War (2019), Pathan will be a slick and stylish revenge drama. Since the film marks Shah Rukh and John's first on-screen union, Adi and Siddharth have etched out dramatic scenes featuring them. They have roped in action director Parvez Shaikh, who has worked on War, Brahmastra and Bell Bottom, to design high-octane fight sequences between the duo," a source told .

Those who have been following the Indian Premier League (IPL) must have noticed that Shah Rukh Khan is currently sporting longish hair and a fuzzy stubble. The source said that this is part of SRK's look for Pathan. Shah Rukh Khan's looks will be curated by stylist Shaleena Nathani and much like SRK's Raees (2017) avatar, he will flaunt customised sunglasses in Pathan as well.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh Khan's next

It has been two years since SRK fans last saw him on the big screen. Many believed that after the debacle of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan decided to take a sabbatical and concentrate on choosing scripts that suited him best. Earlier reports suggested that SRK has signed his next project with celebrated Tamil director Atlee, after the two met during last year's IPL. However, neither confirmed anything about the film.

It was also speculated that Shah Rukh has signed a film with Rajkumar Hirani, which will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. But there was no confirmation on that either.
