Linen is one of the strongest natural fibres, which is known to be more durable than cotton. And most importantly, it is known to have a lower environmental impact than cotton.

If you're looking for festive ways to wear this sustainable fabric, then you need to take a cue from Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre, who is known for her mindful fashion choices.

The 45-year-old star was recently seen wearing a red linen zari sari by Anavila. The 100% linen sari is a handwoven piece which features gold zari border and polka dots. She styled this red and gold sari with a golden zari blouse. Skipping heavy make-up and accessories, she opted for a simple yet serene look.

For her hairdo, she opted for an updo and for her make-up, she sported softly kohled eyes with flushed cheeks and brown lip colour. This is not the first time, the actress has been spotted in linen for festive occasions.

During the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this year, she picked a basil-green sari with floral zari motifs. Even with this sari, she opted for a golden blouse and rounded off her look with a traditional nath and layered necklaces.

We loved Sonali's linen sari combinations, tell us how did you like it in the comment section below.
