Amitabh Bachchan: A great example resilience

Shreyas Talpade, who has been busy with interesting projects and was recently shooting in Goa before restrictions were imposed in Goa and Maharashtra, in an exclusive chat shares that he doesn't mind waiting for good scripts. Ask him if he will want to consider television someday and he said, "As of now, I don't want to do television. There is good money and exposure in television but, I would like to do films. Maybe in the future, if something crops up, I will consider."

Shreyas has a good mix of films in the upcoming months. He will be seen in Mannu Aur Minni Ki Shaadi, a marathi film with Mahesh Manjrekar and another project, which has been pushed due to the pandemic. He said, "I am happy that there are some interesting projects in my kitty.But if I didn't have good films in my hand, I would not mind waiting for the right roles."

He shares how he is highly inspired from Bollywood's legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. He said, "I am an ardent admirer of Amitabh Bachchan saab, his never-say-die attitude has made him a legend in Bollywood today. His hunger to perform and readiness to take up different roles is amazing. There was a time when his career was not going in the desired direction but he bounced back and it is a big inspiration for actors like us."

He added, "Actors like Amitabh Bachchan have taught us that if you have it in you, one can score a century and continue doing well."

Shreyas has been part of many interesting films like Iqbal, Golmaal Returns, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Aashayein and Great Grand Masti. He has also done many Marathi films.
