A Myanmar military court has sentenced detained US journalist Danny Fenster to 11 years in prison, his lawyer said.
He was found guilty of breaching immigration law, unlawful association and encouraging dissent against the military.
Fenster, managing editor of Frontier Myanmar, was detained while trying to leave Myanmar in May. He is also awaiting trial on sedition and terrorism charges.
