CC, on its official website, named Team India's predicted playing XI for T20 World Cup 2022. ICC chose Dinesh Karthik as India's wicketkeeper and number six batter in the playing XI instead of Rishabh Pant.
Other players include Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh.
