Bollywood's extraordinaire Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married at the Villa Balbianello in Lenno, Como lake, northern Italy.
The couple got married in two ceremonies spread across two days - a South Indian-style wedding on November 14 and a North Indian-style one the next day.
The ceremonies were held at Villa Balbianello, a lakeside mansion featured in Star Wars and James Bond films, on the fifth anniversary of the release of 'Ram Leela', their first movie together.
The South Indian-style wedding comprised of a Konkani rituals, and was followed by a Punjabi-Sindhi-style ceremony on Thursday, honouring the traditions of both families.
They are now man and wife. Ever since they started dating each other 6 years back, the DeepVeer fans wholeheartedly shipped them and prayed for their togetherness. After flooding social media with memes when no photos from DeepVeer wedding found their way to the internet to putting their creativity to the best use after the photographs were unveiled – the netizens have been at it. Soon after the photographs were published, the fans began to draw comparisons with their films together including Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani while others joked about Ranbir Kapoor singing Channa Mereya after the wedding.
