Chicago Christians Congregate Under UTCC

CHICAGO – The UTCC (United Telugu Christian Community) led the Christians in Chicago to host the annual Christmas Celebration. Carols by Candlelight was the highlight of the evening. It was a grand celebration and an evening brimming with melodious carols and advent track that UTCC hosted in Skokie.  

 

Vijender Doma, UTCC organizer of the grand Christmas application stated that the motive of web hosting the Christmas cantata changed into to bring about a Christian unity. Vijender Doma Doma outlined the future programs of the UTCC which incorporates youth pageant, mixed Easter celebrations, solidarity picnic, visit/ appreciation on senior’s day, Pastors appreciation and other.

 

The special Christmas Candlelight evening drew an overwhelming attendance from diverse denominational churches. Symbolic lighting of the Candle by pastors of Chicagoland also took place. Archbishop Jaykumar Agepog led this ceremony. Others who participated include: Rev. David V Sagar, Rev. Thomas Polepaka, Pastor Marcus Konda, Rev. Swaraj Perumalla, Rev. Walter Benjamin Medari, Rev. Paul Gorre, Rev. Scort Christy, Rev. Timothy Rathod, Rev. John Rathod, Rev. Dinkar Tylor from Philadelphia, Rev. Avni Christian, Rev. Purvi Satvedi, Pastor Sarfee Ejaz, Pastor Rohail Bakhsh, and Pastor Solomon Mall.

 

This true celebrations of Christmas which was centered on the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The choir participants supplied a string of lovely advent melodies full of gusto and beats which prompted spontaneous clapping as the songs had been sung with degree of joyful pleasure.

 

Rev. Vidya Sagar eloquently summarized the essence of Christmas Highlight of the night-time celebration amidst an upbeat music by musicians Johnson Kodali, Michael Konda, Joel Chettupally.

 

Johnson Sukka and Ramesh Goneh earlier welcomed the visitors and entreated the households to uphold the Christian background with their existence of giving and sharing all through the Christmas season.

 

Mahala Sukka, Joyce Doma, Ruth Varma and Gulshan Baksh were the emcees for the celebrations.
