Bangladesh's Beximco to produce Corona Virus drug Remdesivir

DHAKA (Bangladesh) - One of Bangladesh’s largest drugmakers, Beximco Pharmaceuticals, will start production this month of the experimental antiviral drug remdesivir, which has shown promise in fighting the new coronavirus, a senior company executive said. Remdesivir, a drug developed by Gilead Sciences, has grabbed attention as one of the most promising treatments for COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus that has killed more than 250,000 people.

Evacuation of Indian stranded aboard will to start from May 7: MoE

INDIA plans to facilitate the travel of STRANDED Indian citizens. The process will begin from May 7. The travel will be arranged by aircraft and naval ships. The government note says that the returns will be facilitated on "compelling grounds" in a phased manner. 

All foreigners to be facilitated to return back to their country including Pak nationals

The MEA said it is facilitating the return of all foreign nationals presently in India to their countries and these include nationals of Pakistan. It has already extended the visas of all foreigners in India to April 30.
