Trump Says US China Deal “Done” Tariffs To Stay

The U.S. will keep tariffs high on Chinese goods, President Donald Trump said Wednesday morning, touting a preliminary trade agreement that he and Chinese President Xi Jinping will need to approve. China will supply rare earth minerals and magnets “up front,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform, although he didn’t clarify the exact terms. Trump also said, without explaining further, that “we are getting a total of 55% of tariffs, China is getting 10.”

While Mansueto initially states the stadium will be soccer-specific, the club plans on using it as a 'community asset,' hosting other sports and entertainment events.

Prez Trump Announces 25 Percent Tarrif on India Made iPhones; Stocks Fall

In a dramatic statement that rekindled the trade war frenzy, President Donald Trump threatened to place a substantial 25% tariff on Apple products unless CEO Tim Cook promises to relocate iPhone production to the United States. “I have long ago informed Tim Cook of Apple that I expect their iPhones that will be sold in the United States of America will be manufactured and built in the United States, not India, or anyplace else. If that is not the case, a tariff of at least 25% must be paid by Apple to the U.S”.

US REJECTS, DESTROYS INDIAN MANGOES

In a setback for India’s agricultural exports, at least 15 mango shipments from India have been rejected by US authorities at key entry points, including airports in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Atlanta, due to documentation irregularities. Exporters were given the choice of either destroying the mangoes or bearing the high cost of re-exporting them to India. Given the perishable nature of mangoes and the prohibitive expense of return shipping, all affected exporters opted to dispose of the fruit within the United States, according to a media report.

Then, a man squeezed through a small hole in the wall behind a metal toilet. 10 escaped.

President Trump's imposition of blanket 25% tariffs on all goods imported from Canada and Mexico drew swift vows of retaliation from the United States' immediate neighbors on Tuesday.
