December 12, 2021 01:35 PM

The Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly has passed a bill to abolish the Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board through voice vote.

The move comes after the state government announced the withdrawal of the Char Dham Devasthanam Board Management Act on November 30, which brought the four shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri and 49 other temples under the purview of a board.
