BJP member Subramanian Swamy recalled his first meeting with former PM Manmohan Singh. "[In] 1970, I was selected by Manmohan as an Economics Professor at IIT Delhi.
He chaired the 10-member selection committee and unanimously got me chosen against all Communists screaming away," Swamy tweeted.
He added, "In 1990...I got him selected as [an] Economic Adviser to ex-PM Chandra Shekhar."
