Two more Indian beaches have been added to the list of 'Blue Flag' beaches, an eco-label given to the cleanest beaches in the world.
Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav tweeted, "Proud moment!...Minicoy, Thundi Beach and Kadmat Beach — both in Lakshadweep — are the proud entrants in the coveted list."
This has taken India's tally of Blue Flag beaches to 12.
