Mumbai Police will provide Y+ security cover to actor Salman Khan.
The step has been taken by the state government after he received a threat letter from Lawrence Bishnoi gang earlier, said Maharashtra Police.
Actor Akshay Kumar has also been reportedly given X-category security cover. According to reports, Akshay was granted security because of social media threats over his nationality.
