Russia wants to help India in overcoming the price cap on Russian crude oil imposed by western nations.
Deputy PM Novak Alexander offered India cooperation on the leasing and building of large-capacity ships, the Russian embassy said.
This'll help India overcome the impact of the ban on insurance services and tanker chartering in the EU and the UK, it said.
