Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill banning most abortions after six weeks.
The legislation allows exceptions to save the woman's life or for cases of rape or incest until 15 weeks of pregnancy.
The ban will take effect only if the state's current 15-week ban is upheld in an ongoing legal challenge that is before Florida's Supreme Court.
