Actor Naseeruddin Shah, when asked about the role of artistes in times of propaganda films, said that "they're all scared".
"[Their role is] to make [their] voice heard, if it carries any weight, to not participate in movies which clash with [their] own beliefs or any work which clashes with [their] beliefs," Shah added.
