NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has an edge over the BJP in the Delhi assembly elections where the Arvind Kejriwal-led party seems to have forged a major support base among Muslims, SC\ST\OBC and lower income group voters, said the latest snap poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen.

The poll, conducted over two days during January 24-25 in all 70 constituencies with 2,262 respondents, also suggested that the AAP has increased its vote share by 4% as compared to the previous snap poll.

"As compared to the previous snap poll conducted in the second week of January, where 46% intended to vote for Aam Aadmi Party, there is an increase of 4% (from 46% to 50%) for the party. For BJP, there is a decline by 4% in the recent snap poll (from 45% to 41%)", said ABP News-Nielsen in a statement.
