A Mumbai court issued summons to lyricist Javed Akhtar in connection with a defamation case filed by a lawyer over the former's alleged remarks against the RSS last year.
The lawyer, Santosh Dubey, had filed a complaint after Akhtar had allegedly drawn parallels between the Taliban and Hindu extremists.
The next case hearing will be held on February 6.
